Behavioral Threat Assessment: Improving Safety By Building Relationships

This session will demonstrate how incorporating Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) and Verbal De-escalation techniques on a consistent basis have a positive impact on overall school culture and climate. Additionally, the session will highlight the need for building relationships as a part of the BTA model and a layered safety approach within our schools and communities at large.
